Your wedding ceremony should feel like the two of you — not a script, not a performance, and not something that could belong to anyone else.
I create personal, non-religious wedding ceremonies that are written from scratch and shaped around your story, your values, your relationship, and the atmosphere you want to create.
It might be warm and joyful, quiet and intimate, full of laughter, deeply reflective, or a mixture of all of those things. What matters is that it feels true to you.
As a Humanists UK accredited celebrant, I will take time to understand what matters to you both and create a ceremony that feels thoughtful, genuine and completely your own.
What your wedding ceremony can include
Your ceremony can include personal vows, readings, music, symbolic rituals, moments of remembrance, family involvement, humour, stillness, or anything else that feels meaningful to you.
There is no fixed template. I will guide you through the options, help you shape the ceremony, and write something that feels true to you both.
You do not need to know exactly what you want before we begin. Part of my role is to help you work out what feels right — and what does not.
How we create it together
We begin with a relaxed conversation so I can understand what matters to you, what kind of ceremony you are hoping for, and how you want the moment to feel.
From there, I write your ceremony from scratch, with time for you to read, reflect and make changes before the day.
I can also support you with vows, readings, symbolic rituals, and the overall flow of the ceremony, so that everything feels natural, considered and held with care.
A ceremony with warmth and meaning
A celebrant-led wedding gives you the freedom to create a ceremony that is personal, meaningful and not restricted by a set format.
You can include the people, stories, words and rituals that matter to you. You can also leave out anything that does not feel right.
The result is a ceremony that feels calm, thoughtful and genuinely reflective of who you are.
Ready to talk?
