Celebrant-led ceremonies can be a natural fit for venues that want to offer couples more choice, flexibility and meaning.
I work with couples who are looking for something personal, relaxed and less traditional — a ceremony that feels genuinely reflective of them, rather than something they have to fit into.
Why celebrant-led ceremonies work for venues
Because the legal registration is completed separately, a celebrant-led ceremony does not need to take place in a licensed ceremony room.
This gives couples more freedom around where and how the ceremony happens, and gives venues more ways to use beautiful or meaningful spaces.
It can work especially well for:
- gardens and outdoor spaces
- barns and courtyards
- private rooms and terraces
- restaurants and hospitality venues
- retreats and rural venues
- private homes and estates
- venues that are not licensed for legal ceremonies
What I offer
I create personal, non-religious wedding ceremonies that are written from scratch and shaped around each couple — their story, their people, their values and the kind of moment they want to create.
The process is calm, thoughtful and well organised, from the first conversation to the ceremony day.
How I can support your venue
I am happy to work collaboratively with venue teams, planners and coordinators so the ceremony feels smooth, calm and well held.
I can support by:
- explaining celebrant-led ceremonies to couples
- providing wording for brochures, websites or enquiry replies
- attending open days or wedding showcases where appropriate
- liaising with your team before the ceremony
- helping couples think through ceremony location, flow and guest involvement
Local focus
I am based in Alton, Hampshire, and work across Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey, West Sussex and surrounding areas.
I am particularly interested in working with venues that offer something personal, relaxed or a little different — especially spaces that already feel suited to meaningful ceremonies.
